Aaron Archer
Behavioral Health Provider
MS, LAC, PCLC
Aaron Archer, MS, LAC, PCLC, is a clinical mental health counselor based in Kalispell, Montana, with a professional background that uniquely integrates over two decades in commercial banking and litigation with advanced training in psychotherapy. He is a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and Provisionally Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (PCLC), and he earned his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Providence. He provides individual and group therapy with a focus on substance use disorders, emotional regulation, and relational dynamics.
Aaron’s clinical approach is grounded in the perspective that substance use is often a manifestation of deeper emotional incongruence. He utilizes an integrative framework drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered principles, while emphasizing insight development, accountability, and meaningful behavioral change. His work frequently centers on helping clients identify underlying drivers of distress, strengthen interpersonal effectiveness, and build sustainable recovery pathways.
In addition to his clinical work, Aaron has led intensive outpatient programming and developed structured treatment curricula designed to address the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional domains of recovery. He is committed to fostering authentic therapeutic relationships and supporting clients in achieving clarity, resilience, and long-term psychological well-being.
